Eighteen years ago she was introduced to The Pampered Chef via a catalog, while living in Tampa, FL. Stacy was a stay-at-home mom raising her 1st son, Reuben. He was 1 1/2 years old, and she was ready to get a break from motherhood and be around adults. Being quite shy, she relied upon her husband, Todd, to help her get the 1st show scheduled. During this show she was so nervous, she cut herself right at the beginning. The rest of the show, needless to say, was a breeze.
Her 1st year in the business, she just sort of dabbled with Pampered Chef. She felt great pride in getting people excited to be in the kitchen with quick, healthy and easy meal preparation, cooking tips, and providing guests the right tools to make it happen.
Stacy then went to her 1st conference in Chicago and realized this was a "real" business. She got to meet so many other successful people from every walk of life. It was at that time, she knew this was for her. At that point, she held 2 shows a week and built a team.
Three years later, Stacy & Todd had their second son, Elliot. Thanks to the flexibility of this business, she was able to slow up during this time and enjoy their new gift. Again, she did shows to sneak away for a few hours and be with adults.
During the years she has been able to involve her whole family. Her husband helped her get started and is her biggest cheerleader. Her kids have both helped her in the office. Reuben, now 20, has developed this website and continues to be the webmaster. Elliot, now 16, helps her file, stamp and stay organized. Both boys are always so eager to help their mom. It has really shown them how to have a great work ethic.
She has achieved the Top Level of the business, National Executive Director. This provides Stacy with a retirement package, something very unusual in the Direct Selling business. You can view a picture of this elite group inside the catalog.
Her biggest strength is in "caring" for others. She is a huge resource for training, provides a team atmosphere, and loves to recognize your efforts. She is always more than willing to do whatever she can to make you happy and successful, in what ever capacity that might be.
Stacy says "This business provides a wonderful outlet...something for 'me', and I am able to contribute to the household income while out having fun. I've even earned and taken my husband on trips around the world thanks to The Pampered Chef. In 2003 I left my husband at home and took Reuben on the Alaskan Cruise. What I have enjoyed most is helping others succeed, the flexibility to do as much or as little as I want, the relationships I have developed, travel we have enjoyed and the unlimited income."
